Take pictures to produce ten excellent shots of items, objects or other images you normally don't see. Time off and with family and friends often will yield numerous images that are unique to a four day weekend and national holiday involving food. At the same time, there are plenty of things that will satisfy the assignment that has nothing to do with Thanksgiving and visiting people.

Photo Essay due Tuesday at beginning of class. Sunset assignment due Thursday.
Photo Essays - pictures and written essay due Tuesday.
Due Thursday -
Sunset (or Sunrise) assignment - take 10 different pictures using the sunrise and/or sunset. Include:
3 scenery shots - landscape, Mt. Tam, trees, mall, school in the morning or evening.
3 portraits - of people using the sunset or sunrise light.
3 pictures of sunlight coming through tree tops, over rooftops or other structures - zoomed in, closer up.
Take these shots when you take your landscape.
Plus one other picture of your choice.
2 pictures of the sun directly maximum.
Goal - capture the magic of the light and the hues of the sky (yellow, crimson, purple)
Write up - 1/2 page: poem (60 word min) or journal (min 200 words) about sunlight.
