There are numerous photo sites on the internet. Examining photographs that you really like will help you take better pictures as we study how specific types of photos have been taken, so we can use these techniques to compose our own photographs.

For each photo, in a new email, copy the url for the photo, and write one sentence about what you like for each picture.
Also, in the same email, do some research on your camera at this site:

1. Go to Google. Create New Collection - PJ6 First Last name.
2. Share with erodgers@hall-school.org as an email collaborator.
3. Go to hallphotojournalism.blogspot.com and "follow" with an outside email address or your parent's email address.
4. email me a message - "hi" in the subject line to erodgers@hall-school.org - from your school google account.
5. Bring a fully charged camera or include extra batteries (keep in locker) to class on Tuesday.
6. Always bring pencil and paper for directions and notes.

All PJ5 folders have been backed up - delete if necessary to upload Essay2 and Haiku
I have sent out individual emails to all students through your @hall-school.org accounts that your PJ5 folders have been backed up. You can now delete a number of class activities so you can upload the following:
1. Photo Essay 2
2. Photo Essay write up - put in your Photo Essay 2 folder
3. Photo-Haiku folder -
3a. 10 photos from the two day class activity
3b. 8 minimum Haikus - each may have a number for a title or a single word as a title

Photo Activity - Photo Haiku Activity - M/T
We will participate in a two day class activity, worth 15 points. All photos and the writing from the activity should appear in a new folder called - Photo Haiku.

Your Photo Essay 2 - Vacation or Week Off Theme should be uploaded into Google Docs PJ5 folder in a new folder called Photo Essay 2.
